Manhunt for Polish librarian Kajetan Poznaski who 'decapitated female teacher'

A Polish librarian said to be obsessed with Hannibal Lecter is being hunted by police across Europe after he allegedly decapitated his languages tutor with a samurai sword.

Kajetan Poznański, 27, from Warsaw, has no previous criminal record but is now listed by European-wide police network Europol as one of the EU’s most-wanted men.

Authorities believe that the fugitive, now on the run, killed his Italian language teacher, known only as Katarzyna J, 30, on February 3 at her home, dismembered her body with a samurai sword, took the parts to his house and set fire to it to cover his tracks.
