Randy Jackson Health: What Happened To Him?

In 2003, Randy Jackson was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, prompting him to slim down. He later informed the press that his family had diabetes. Since his illness was discovered, he has been a vocal advocate for end-stage chronic diseases and has addressed the subject in various publications and on social media.

After he found out he had a weight problem in 2003, Jackson stated that he underwent surgery to help him lose weight. In 2021, Jackson said that because of the surgery, he was able to drop about 114 pounds.

He also mentioned in the interview that in the early 2000s, before his diagnosis, he weighed more than 350 pounds. In an interview, he said, “I was like 358. I had to get it down, man. So what I did is, I went through, I had gastric bypass. I started Unify Health Labs, my vitamin line. I had a food divorce, is what I usually say. I had to let it all go and start over.”
